We live in a unique time in human history. Like no generation before us, we have internet connections and handheld devices which provide us with instant information, constant connection, endless entertainment. Ours is a digital age, an age which is shaping the way we think about ourselves, the way we relate to others, and the way we spend our time.
If we are to flourish as followers of Jesus in our digital age, we need wisdom – God’s wisdom. We need to hear what the gospel has to say about what is true, real, beautiful, life-giving, and to allow these truths to cultivate in us wise thinking and healthy habits. That’s what we’re going to be doing over the next five Sunday evenings (commencing 28 April) in our new sermon series – Gospel Wisdom for a Digital Age.
